This large scale piece is an original watercolor on heavy paper. It is just lovely - beautifully depicting working lobster boats out at sea. There is one boat featured prominently and in wonderful detail, including a figure aboard. The water is just exquisite, with the most beautiful light and movement. The painting is in excellent condition and has been signed by the artist in the lower right hand corner. It has been newly framed and matted with acid-free matting and a UV-protective reduced glare glass overlay. The frame is a lightly distressed ivory/gray with a silver bevel.
